Hey so i just changed mine out followed yours step by step and it works but when I change the settings they are incorrect, Basically my air only goes out of the front defrost and feet with only one vent blowing towards you when I select that, any idea where I might have messed up?

I believe this is my issue. Air flow stops coming out from vent significantly when I take the car out for a long drive. I diagnose and I always get 4 blinks. The sound from the car when this problem occurs is upsetting too, it does sound like there’s air wanting to come out, but it doesn’t come out from the vents. So far I’ve replaced my blower motor, resistor, AC fan, relay, and all of those had made my AC run better so I thought I fixed the problem, but just recently on a long drive it happened again. It’s great at the start of the drive, but after an hour or so the pressure from the vents drop dramatically. Will be trying this!

My experience about radio code for Honda. i just call for local Honda dealer, they asked my CRV VIN Number, when lady checked online , she told me radio code... NO Charge ... I live in Canada. Thank You Danny for teach Honda maintenance !!!!!!!!!!!

Did this on a 2009 Civic. This job was a 10 out of 10 on the difficulty scale. If you can outsource this to a mechanic, do it. The removal and reinstallation of the filter, especially the rear spring clamp, was the hardest part of the job followed by the replacement of the filter bracket that was nightmarish. There is no room to get both of your hands on the parts that you have to manipulate. No plier has jaws wide enough to deal with those spring clips. Use the trick in this video or do not even attempt this filter change. I had partial success with a pair of needle nose pliers. It took me at least 1.5 hours to remove the filter and get it back into place. It was hellish. My back is killing me. If you are going to do this, when you remove the spring clamp above the Phillips screw, put a tie wrap on it otherwise you are going to lose it during the filter box removal or reinstallation. Both the removal and replacement of the filter box was also a nightmare. I would pull the battery after you struggle to get the box back in to place. Do not buy the supposed "genuine filters" on Amazon or eBay, they are junk knockoffs and they do not have the bypass that is critical if the filter gets dirty. Buy the Beck/Arnley 0440434 on Amazon. $19. Again, do yourself a favor, and hand this off to a good mechanic with a lift and long thin arms. Do not do this project unless you want to ruin an entire afternoon, it is absolutely not worth the aggrivation. Walk away and your future self will thank me.

Maybe I don't understand, but after reset buy used that scanner, need to do Start Idle Learning Steps manually ????.... It's meant that Launch x431 elite Scan don't doing reset throttle body completely ??? What reason to spend 160 dollars ? If I can done that reset just check your video before?? I'm taking about manually reset throttle body . And second question.. Thas reset option including in scanner, or need to buy separately ? Because I read Amazon reviews, and some people complain, because - reset Oil Light need pay for that. Don't have Free option in that scanner. Same about parking brake or throttle body. Thanks

do you need to discharge all the refrigerant before you do this?

Danny, I want to just vacuum and top off or add any refrigerant to my 2010 Accord that I may be low on. So, if I haven't replaced a component and my system has freon already in it, then what would my procedure be then? There are no leaks, and it blows fairly cold, however, like you, I want to get my temperature as low and cold as possible. Any advice appreciated,

Based on Scotty's test from a year or two ago, I spent about $200 on a JFEGWO. It’s fantastic. I’ve helped my kids, friends, and colleagues with it. It’s worth every penny.

It has jump-started many vehicles at my home, ranging from small cars to massive V8 engines. I should add that sometimes they wouldn't start at all because they had been sitting in the garage for too long (Covid). It has always performed flawlessly and doesn't require frequent recharging.

These types of videos are like giving you a fish. Great if you have a 2009 civic with this exact problem. How do you figure out what the wires do so you can apply to any car or defective part of car (ie learn to fish for myself)?

Thanks for the video! I have a question and hope you can help. I don’t get any trouble codes when performing the control panel test. My car has had trouble blowing cold air. It seems to only blow ambient/outside air temp. It used to have an issue where it could still blow cold air but after driving for 30 minutes, the volume of air would be very little. But now it’s mostly unable to blow cold air.

I have a 2014 civic si bone stock and I just noticed a power steering humming sound on a slow uturn. It doesn’t make the noise when I’m stopped and turning the steering wheel. Car has 86k miles. Do you think a flush might fix the issue? Seems too early for a pump to be going out.

Mine blinks 4 times also, could this cause the ac to stop blowing cold after about 10-15 minutes? I’m having this problem now also

Hey so I have a 2010 Lx, mine blows very cold for about 10 minutes then becomes hot, I ran the diagnostic and it blinked 4 times as I’ve also been having trouble with the buttons, could that be the reason my ac is blowing warm also or do I have other issues?

Danny were you a former mechanic in a previous life? You must be very technically inclined? I'd have no idea on how to approach a repair like this, well done!! A dealer would charge a hefty price for something like this.

I have the same Civic. 85K on it. Driving through a big puddle of salt water couple years ago I hear noise coming from alternator. No other problems. Mechanic says wait and do nothing about it 😁 Is it correct?
